LAKE TAHOE IN WINTER
In winter Lake Tahoe becomes a winter wonderland. With an annual average of 18ft of snow each winter there's plenty of snow for all of your winter activities. Skiing and snowboarding are the biggest draws for the over 1 million people who come to the Lake Tahoe area each winter. With over 10 ski resorts in the area there are plenty of choices. Due to the varied terrain each ski resort offers something a bit different.
In addition to the downhill skiing and snowboarding the list of winter activities includes cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling & ice skating.
When you're done with your outside activity for the day there are many places to stop in after for après ski.
